Hello readers, we have more entertainment news for you today as we move closer to the holidays and frantic schedules !! Is anyone feeling the pain? I am definitely years behind on my christmas shopping! well enough of my personal challenges. Let's get to the fun part of 007, james bond and Daniel Craig with surprising family "ties". The newest 007 Bond man is related to royalty! Imagine that!! Critics are gushing over the 23rd installment of the legendary franchise and Daniel Craig has joined the film royalty with a bit of his own blueblood royalty facts. The 44 year old British leading man has James Bond in his blood and it turns out that it is really supported by fact! Ian Fleming named the iconic character after he wrote "casino royale" in 1953. Die hard fans know the facts that James Bond wasn't an international spy and man of mystery but actually a "bird expert". Fleming , was an avid bird watcher himself and was familiar with orinthology or the study of birds.. and with  James Bond, the  author of the book "birds of the West Indies". Ian used the name to help create the now famous character . Who knew when starting out this "bond brand" would extend over half a century!!  I guess we can't get enough of the "secret agent" or "mission impossible".  Ian's own words in the New Yorker in 1962 state that he wanted "bond to be an extremely dull , uninteresting  man to whom things happened".  When casting  the part, Ian thought the protagonist James Bond , was the dullest name he ever heard and perfect for his character.  Let's look at the royal family ties of Craig to the late (real james bond) who died in 1989. Both dan and james are related through John of Guant , the duke of Lancaster, also the son of king edward III of England. Dan Craig's royal lineage doesnt stop there..He is related to the Queen of England and Richard Neville of Earl of Salisbury.  One can see it's a small world after all!! who is  Daniel not related to? It seems like this guy is one "universal" character with family blood going out in all directions. Now my own son, jesse cannella, professional actor, model and musician has royal blood in film and we have more stories to uncover with family history that dates back to the founding of America.  We may have royal blood with the authors and framers of our country..? who knows??  Jesse, interestingly enough, has a short film titled "here and now" that is coincidentially focused on "birds" and man's need for "flight and freedom". it could be the flight or fight dna that causes constant inner conflict but the need to evolve and escape is pre-eminent in our thinking and chemistry.  it seems there are many  "secret" agents out there..working the puzzles and mysteries of life and investigation discoveries. Birds are everywhere and many are watching. Bird-watching has always had a connotation of a "certain" english savoir faire. Perhaps it is when one is watching birds , that all other covert operations become clear to us as we "examine" the world around us. Personally, I love being in nature and watching "birds" is a benign pastime that reflects our appreciation of evolution and all species connected to our natural world. we all have a stake in the "ecology and climate changes" and i would add one more stake. Clean energy that is sustainable and does not damage the natural enviorment is a cause that is worthy.!! so..with 007 secret agents we have mapped and matched some of our own family history with that of Daniel Craig and his direct links to royalty , complete with Kings, Earls , dukes and queens!!  Apparently you need all the " royalty you can get just to have a shot at one "007" film. !!  i mean the justification.!! and reasons why you can best express the character role!!  Will 007 remain the "secret agent" source for the next 50 years? Only time will tell.. and i know some credible and gifted actors waiting to get some shots at the best "books to movie"opportunities.  There are even some "detectives" in clean energy that are waiting to connect with high voltage!  As november rolls with the holiday season , i would have to recommend Daniel in Skyfall as a family viewing top 10 for the holiday season. Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway in "les miserables" is released christmas day so its going to be a "turkey stuffing" and "star stocking stuffer" holiday movie season!!
