While Matt damon and Ben Affleck are teaming up on their newest production about the crime boss "whitey bulger", there has been alot of activity behind the scenes at Ben and Matt's production company, Pearl street films. WB, warner brothers. Ben has been busy directing a number of films and in the latest release, acted as producer, director and star as he played "tony mendez" in "Argo".
Ben and Matt have a new addition to staff , naming Jennifer Todd as president of thier company, pearl street films. Jennifer brings some serious fire power with her as she has a resume of gold. She formerly worked for Mark Gordon, and also with her sister Suzanne with their own Team Todd Banner. Some of the success stories produced read as Tim burton's "Alice in wonderland", Across the Universe, Memento, Austin Powers Trilogy! All productions with universal appeal and star power!!
Another Todd success story is the Sony Classics "celeste and Jesse forever", starring Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg. It looks like Ben and Matt are evolving!! They certainly have picked a "winner" with "experience" to manage the productions as president!! It's great to see a "female" at the post. I wish "pearl street films" mega success as Ben, Matt, the brat pack faves, go to the next level with their creativity in film making and acting, adding production to the expanding business! Congrats to Jennifer Todd for her contribution to Pearl Street films. I'm looking for bigger and better things from this triangle!!
