An example would be as a fish or turtle evolves. An animal can only grow to a size in accordance with its environment. Put a fish in a small tank and it stays small. Put it in a big tank and it gets bigger.. !

1)Network
Networking is a way of life not just a lead generation practice. Market leaders are just naturals in communication and have never-ending circles of contacts based on a very active and interest-driven life. My own experience says that Market leaders thrive on challenges and may be active or proactive in many causes and they take on many leadership roles. Success is the only word in their vocabulary.
Networking then is how you uncover oppportunities . It's how you build a team of "best of class" resources to bring value to every aspect of your life. Networking implies the act of giving and receiving and "who can i help" is the focus.
2)participation
Market leaders join groups , attend events, volunteer to serve on boards and committees. This is a strong trait of a market leader and i might add one of very charitable actors, as my son , jesse cannella, has invested and devoted much of his time for worthy causes. The market leader is visible and community-minded and thus someone who has many admirers for the general warm and fuzzies of openness.
3)Market leaders have figured out something others have not.. and the golden nuggets they discover provide wisdom and strategy that they can "teach". We all benefit when a market leader brings creativity, novelty and invention to the mainstream!
4)Cooperate
Market leaders view competition differently than most. ML's believe that cooperation is far more fruitful than competition and look for ways to collaborate, educate and help industry members that some might view as direct competitors.
5)Host
Finally, market leaders understood the value of playing host for their community.they host meetings, industry events and find ways to gather people for lunch, music, art and education. Leadership isn't really about being better or stronger or faster. It's more about taking action that benefits your industry, tribe, community, without thinking about it. It is a natural skill of communication, speaking and presenting in my opinion with very "unselfish" actions and motives. Doing all these things is how you establish the mindset of a market leader. With a famous catch phrase you all will recognize..its "just do it"!!Marketing is a form of art..Some are blessed more than others with the "ease" in which they can convey ideas, products and services. We can all learn important lessons from the leaders of our communities and benefit and who knows..someday..we may be a "market leader"..sought after for our many experiences and successes in life and business!
