We can all relate to the words of Patrick Henry giving the challenge and ultimatum that would ring true through centuries. They reflect man's nature and quest for a life of meaning. life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Today's succinct news visits an article well-written and well-defined by my friend, Senator Rick Santorum. I couldn't agree more with Rick's views. We are standing at the crossroads my friends. Its a serious time in our american history, one that is "history in the making" on election day, 2012. There are many issues at stake and the fundamental ones, including constitutional law, free enterprise and what exactly is gov't's role in our healthcare choices, in our small businesses and in our lives as citizens must be examined with heart and soul. You could say the "heart and soul" of america hangs in the balance of this next election. Rick's assessment of Obama as president is exactly true and right! While we can relate to the universal fact that we are all evolved from immigrants to this country, there are definite lines that are getting "blurred" under the Obama administration. The "hope and change" message has been lost in the "brutality" of stats.. showing the reality of 4 years of high unemployment. 4 years of energy crisis with higher and higher oil and gas prices invading america's profit margin, with four years of burdensome taxes and the disappearance of our middle class. Hardly a message of "hope and change" unless you are loving persecution and loss of freedoms. One of our valued freedoms in america and one our forefathers cherished was the ability to grow business with little or no regulation from a big and corrupt federal govt. . I agree with Rick.. the middle class did build these businesses and the manufacturing companies that are now vacant and no longer competiting to make american goods is one of the more tragic results of Obama's grinding four years as president.!! The automotive industry, one of our largest and strongest has made some inroads but Obama has literally with his policies, been an ineffective president for managing the needs of the people. The basic difference between a majority of americans, as seen in the tea party movement, is this.. we are a healthy people and nation when govt. is small, smart and simple!!  The tenacles of over-reach of gov.t is seen in every aspect of our lives.. Obamacare is another example where people are losing jobs and losing independence! Obama is socialism and big govt. This fundamental difference is highlighted with Mitt Romneys stand for independence and bringing back the middle class in sharp contrast between Obama's  welfare dependency programs. We are about to become a nation of very rich and elitist and the desperate poor, 2 classes that eventually lead to the "demise" of a nation. If we don't take our founding fathers message seriously and vote for Mitt Romney we are doomed. Obamanation is not an "american nation". It is a direction we cannot afford. It is more of the same failed policies that will define our nation as weak, non-competitive, oppressed and socialistic. Obamacare is the final nail in the coffin as as far as this "writer" can offer, it is the last straw that the american people can take!! We need to rebuild. We need to effect new policy and budget , new tax structure, new policies that support business and the middle class but there is also a moral issue. We need to bring respect for life back to  our daily lives with a code of ethics that our founding fathers infused in the documents that are meaningful . Is it life and death my friends? Does the next election represent this "call" for action that is prompted by urgency and the tolling bell? I beleive it is a battle for life and death!! Do we want govt. cradle to grave dictation of our lives with less and less of our constitutional freedoms? Or do we want our independence, our freedom of speech, our right to life, our middle class and jobs, our families security, our american dream, our govt. to be smart, simple and small? It is the fundamental difference that makes a nation great and prosperous or a nation headed for a "funeral march". I suggest we all vote for Mitt Romney and Ryan on nov. 6, 2012 if we want to see an "american comeback" with the engine of the middle class humming along with goods made in america, for the beleagued and long term unemployed need sustainable lives, not welfare dependency. Men and women need work.. and identity with building america.. not with creating more govt. services jobs for creating a socialist nation that leads to poverty and oppression.  it is a difference of black and white contrast. Do we continue with what is not working.. ??  or do we vote to become proactive in taking back the ideals and blueprint of success that our founders laid down in our constitution.!!! ??  The choice is easy.. Hope and change begins with Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Hope and change is the message of  giving the people liberty and freedom.. there is no other way to go forward!! It is a battle for the heart and soul of america based on those principles that made this nation the superpower that it is.. The people!! make all the difference. The people who will build new business with the support of a small govt. and less regulations..The people need a leader who has demonstrated the skills to turn around businesses, olympic games and other projects at a state level as govenor. Americans need Mitt for president!!
