Jesse's succinct news has invested a lionshare of activity for the "reduction" of bullying with an awareness site and blog,  bullybusters! It seems like Bullying has taken over our country and is now a leading cause of pain and suffering with a "cult-like" status. I find myself and my own experiences match many of those victims who are bullied without mercy! First of all, there is always the age old age bully. The bigger, stronger, older bully who bullies the younger children. This was a pattern in my own childhood going back to my childhood years where there were "bullies" on the bus always making threats to the younger kids. Who happened to be me and my little brother. I can remember having anxiety and fear all day knowing that I would have extreme terror on the bus where an older child, some called a military base brat, in our faces with threats while riding the bus. I totally can relate to the children who are being bullied at school, on buses , on playgrounds or anywhere!! Most parents, once having children, want to protect them from the torment that "bullies" inflict on innocent victims. The most important defense in my mind is the "communication defense". Parents must have a bond of trust and open communication with their children to protect them from the rampant bullying that is going on throughout our country at every level. I have to point to the terrible and adverse economy as one of the biggest factors that may be adding to the bullying epidemic. When money and jobs are scarce..well..you know.. the bullying and criminal elements escalate. It's a very tragic reality in our country and i see news stories and reports of this locally and nationally daily , especially with regard to social services and unfit parents. I would like to dedicate this succinct news blog today to Sean Obrien. My youngest child and a victim of the worst bullying known to a minor child. When govt. agencies and police use excessive intrusion into the private lives of homeschoolers the results are more than tragic. Sean was a victim of politics, bullying of agencies and ignorance.
It caused permanent damage. This writer will be publishing a book about the events that led to the "violent" govt. takeover of my son and his life and education forcing him into a program that was never authorized by me. (his mother).  I would also like to dedicate this blog to Jesse Cannella. the professional actor and celeb with a heart of gold to sustain my cause and stand by me with his patience and loving support. We both have been "bullied" mercilessly since i filed an appeal in this case in july, 2002. So today, i have answers for those being bullied. I was shocked to learn on the yahoo link, that 37% of victims of bullying are Adults. Adults in the workplace usually. I can honestly say , that has happened to me in more ways  than i can share today! I do have a solution though. a solution that i needed 32 years ago when going through a messy divorce.
